New Zealand has negotiated Double Tax Agreements (DTAs) with other countries to decide which country or territory has the first or sole right to tax specific types of income. European countries involved in DTAs with New Zealand include: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, the Russian Federation, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK.
