FRIENZ is coordinated by the Royal Society of New Zealand and includes the following partners, forming the project consortium:
France: Europe’s largest fundamental research organisation, a multidisciplinary institution carrying out research in all fields of knowledge with 34,000 employees.
New Zealand: Small business providing support and guidance to enhance the engagement of the NZ research, science and technology community with the EU Framework Programmes for Research and Technologies Development, FP7 and Horizon 2020.
Germany: The International Bureau has been commissioned by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) to strengthen the international ties of German universities, research institutes and enterprises with the ultimate goal of building competencies and fostering competitive advantages for industry and the research community in Germany in the areas of research and innovation. In doing so, the International Bureau is making an important contribution to cultivating an international dimension within the research programmes of the BMBF.
New Zealand: New Zealand’s government agency charged with driving New Zealand’s science and innovation sector.
New Zealand: An independent national academy of science, technology and the humanities.
VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland is a globally networked multitechnological applied research organization. VTT provides high- end technology solutions and innovation services.
