A call for proposals has been opened by MBIE yesterday seeking proposals to support research projects in Resilient Cities and Food for Health. The total commitment of $1M (excl GST) will be invested in up to 15 strategic research partnership contracts to a maximum of $100,000 each (excl GST).
The call is open to New Zealand-based research institutions, including universities, whose nominated project leader either:
• Took part in the May 2014 FRIENZ Study Group Tour on Resilient Cities; and/or
• Engaged with the December 2014 FRIENZ Study Group Tour on Resilient Cities; and/or
• Engaged with the December 2014 FRIENZ Study Group Tour on Foods for Health; and/or
The New Zealand project leaders must belong to New Zealand-based research institutions or universities. Both New Zealand and European researchers from industry may participate in the joint collaboration, but the project leaders should be employed in New Zealand.
